Udstilling på domkirkens gitter åbner på fredag d. 16. september

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the Embassy of Ukraine and Saint Ansgar’s Cathedral

kindly inform about the official launch of the exhibition “Mom, I don’t want war!”

at 17:00 on 16 September
at the St. Ansgar’s Cathedral

The exhibition presents moving testimonies of children from two wars.
Historical drawings of Polish children from 1946, which are a record of their trauma of the German Nazi occupation of Poland in 1939-45,
and contemporary drawings of Ukrainian children, related to the Russia’s war in Ukraine,
collected on the “Mom, I See War” portal.

The exhibition shows a war through the eyes of a child.
Irrespective of place and time a war is a huge evil and the child is always a victim of it.

A child is not a soldier and does not defend the homeland. Though a child suffers with it”.
Janusz Korczak

Before the opening of the exhibition we cordially invite you
to the Mass at 15:45
at St. Ansgar’s Cathedral.

Please RSVP by 15 September at: polemb.copenhagen@msz.gov.pl
